Yesterday, I passed by @ Jr NBA Selection in UP Gym, Quezon City. 10-14 youth all over the country were on rigid training with NBA trainers and NBA superstar Luc Longley. Together with PBA veterans and Jolas. I talk to one of the Top 50 Player he told me he's from Puerto Princesa and they are staying in a hotel in QC all expense paid. Together with other players all over the country. Jr NBA of its 5th year already in partner with Alaska and Gatorade help youths reaching 4000 schools nationwide to select the best of the best.
Its good to see this youths show their prowess, doing the selection to made it to the Top 10. In order for them to compete to other countries. I remember during my youth day like im almost losing my breath and actively competing like them. Im also in a rigid training for Selection in Central Gym for Asian Junior Championship, Malaysia. The real meaning of being a winner or making it to the finals is not on how you tell people or hype the public on how good you are.
